Thank goodness for tubes!!!

I can't imagine what kind of pain Zach would be going through without these tubes in his wears. His walking and talking were both a little delayed until he got his tubes. As you know from the post the other day, Zach had to go to the doctor. Dr. Keel said there was some soft wax blocking the view of the eardrum. He said not to try to clean out his ears or use any drops to encourage drainage that it would happen in 2-4 days naturally. If it hadn't by then, we were to call the ENT. Let me just say that this morning when I saw that gummy drainage, I was elated. You could tell Zach was feeling better and any pressure in his ear was gone!!! The tubes were the best decision we ever made!!! I have never had ear problems, but I imagine from what we went through with him the first year of his life, they hurt pretty bad!!
